Icons and Backgrounds for your holiday dock!
Published on December 13, 2007 By Island Dog In Community
So now you have some holiday cursors and logons, but now you might need some icons to go with those as well.  I browsed through the galleries today and found quite a few icons that can be used in applications such as ObjectDock and IconX.

There are many more holiday inspired icons and backgrounds in the ObjectDock, but these are a few I wanted to feature.

Christmas Bag by D. Arnaez

This is a perfect icon to use as a replacement of the recycle bin.  Very nice!

Christmas Time Background by TimDuck

Well I have talked about Christmas Time in the last two features, so no reason to stop here.  Here is a match ObjectDock background.

Christmas PNG´s by ethylmorphin

This set of icons will really put some holiday cheer into your desktop.  They could be used in a variety of ways, but just using as icons in the dock works for me.

HFN Christmas I by farid nafar

You can't have a holiday desktop without a snowglobe, so this is the one you need to grab.

Be sure to check the galleries for more great holiday skins, and as always, feel free to post links to some icons you think are cool.

And if you fancy a bit of DIY here are a great set of icons that are in .ico format that you can easily convert - FOR YOUR OWN USE - to .png to put in your dock. I use a nice little free prog called Iconsushi to do the conversions which only take a couple of clicks LINK WWW Link

The icons are made by Zeus Box Studio. All credit to these guys for a wonderful festive set. LINK WWW Link
